The increasingly competitive dimensions in global economy are driving the need for advanced competencies, scalability and quick turnaround time. To address these needs, CADES has set up a Competency Development Centre. CADES CDC in partnership with the academic institutes runs various programs to enhance the skills of the engineers. Be it an entry level or a experienced engineer, the CDC offers various customized training programs in domain skills, engineering application software and soft skills.
The CDC is managed by senior personnel whose KPIs are based on the number of training programs, number of engineers trained, extent of cross skill training etc. The CDC Manager co-ordinates with the domain experts / HR / external training partners, plans and conducts the training, contributing to promotion of technical excellence in the organisation.
| Domain training: |
| CADES has a team of ‘DOMAIN EXPERTS’ who have rich industry experience ranging from 20- 40 years in the various verticals like Aero engines, Aerostructures, Transmissions Systems, Acoustics, Composites, Manufacturing Methods, Flight Physics etc. They play a key role in enhancing the domain skills of the engineers. |
| Engineering application software training: |
| The CDC trains engineers on new and varied engineering application software and enables engineers to become more versatile in utility. Example: Engineers who are core skills are usage of Pro engineers are trained on CATIA V5 on the requirement basis. |
| Soft skill training: |
| Soft skill training programs are focused on gearing up engineers with key traits like cross-culture, leadership, customer relationship etc. The CDC manager coordinated with HR team at CADES and external training partners to organizes these trainings. |
